Yes. Creating a family account, finding pen pals and writing letters are free. An optional Premium plan adds extra letter designs and writing colours.
What ages is it for?
Children aged 7 to 14. Children are matched in Friend Finder with pen pals close to their own age.
Is it an app?
No download needed. Stamplo runs in the web browser on most laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and phones.
Who can my child talk to?
Only pen pals that you and the other child's parent have both approved. Every parent passes an ID check, and every letter is read by a parent on both sides before it arrives.
Is it real-time chat?
No. Letters arrive about 12 hours after they are approved, like post. There are no feeds, no likes and no notifications designed to pull children back in.
